Phoenix-Micron releases laser to induce geographic atrophy
Phoenix-Micron announces MICRON 810nm Image-Guided Laser to advance research into diseases like dry AMD
Preclinical research using rodent models is essential for advancing our understanding of dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of vision loss with no approved cure. Today we are pleased to announce the immediate availability of two 810nm lasers.
Working with a leading USA-based CRO, we have validated the capability of the lasers to induce geography atrophy in rodents. Visit us at ARVO 2025, booth 1019, to learn more and please plan to attend the poster session where the results will be presented. (Mon. May 5th 3pm – B0236).
The MICRON 810nm Image-Guided Laser will be available in either short-pulse or continuous wave configurations.
