ERG SOLUTIONS FOR THE RODENT EYE

MICRON® Ganzfeld ERG

A compact, stand-alone unit with an extensive dynamic range, offering both UV and green light to precisely match the sensitivity of rodent photoreceptors.

MICRON® Image-Guided Focal ERG

Attached to the MICRON® imaging system, the MICRON Image-Guided Focal ERG2 enables precise targeting of specific retinal locations for study while preserving dark adaptation. It also supports a wide range of focal spot sizes.

A fully comprehensive system

Equipped with a full range of functions such as flicker, background saturation and OP wave extraction.

Equipped with CLEAN, a Phoenix-Micron innovation that automatically removes 60 Hz pickup.

Image-guided Focal2 ERG for Rodents

MICRON® Image-Guided Focal ERG2 quantitatively determines retinal function at precisely located positions and outputs a graph of retinal performance to facilitate assessment of treated versus non-treated regions. This is enabled using a deep red image and a deep red focal spot, seen on the MICRON image in real time, and then flashing a white light stimulus and recording the electrical signal.

The image-guided ERG modality functions as an attachment to the MICRON® retinal imaging system, maximizing laboratory space. The MICRON® provides illumination and imaging at 650 nm, supporting the highest levels of dark adaption.
